A performance gauge around a play button
The mark is a 290° gauge arc — the analytics half of the product — closing around a play triangle. The arc runs from teal to amber as performance climbs. It reads correctly down to 16 pixels, and it works in a single colour when it has to.

The primary asset. Square, opaque, full-bleed. Use this for app listings, OAuth consent screens, favicons and avatars.

Transparent background, violet-to-teal arc. Use on white and light surfaces where the icon container would feel heavy.

Lifted violet and a white play triangle so the mark keeps its contrast on dark surfaces.
Mark plus wordmark. The default signature for headers, decks and documents on light backgrounds.
The same signature reversed out for dark headers, video end cards and slide decks.
For print, engraving, embroidery, faxes and anywhere the gradient cannot survive. Black and white versions.
Palette
Violet carries the brand. Teal and amber are reserved for data — the gauge, positive movement and warnings. Never use them as decoration.
Gradients. The icon background runs Violet Light → Violet Deep at 135°. The gauge arc runs Teal Bright → Pulse Amber along its sweep. Do not invent new gradients from these colours.
One family, two weights
Inter where available, falling back to the platform UI font. Headings are set tight; body copy is set at a comfortable reading size and never below 15px.
Clear space, minimum size, and what not to do
Clear space
Leave clear space on all sides equal to half the height of the mark. Nothing — text, rules, edges or other logos — enters that area.
Minimum size
The mark stays legible down to 16px. Below 24px, use the app icon rather than the transparent mark, and never use the horizontal lockup below 120px wide.
Do
- Use the supplied files without modification.
- Pick the variant that matches the background — dark mark on light, light mark on dark.
- Keep the mark's square proportions when scaling.
- Place the mark on solid colour, or on an image area quiet enough to keep it legible.
- Use the single-colour version when the reproduction method cannot hold a gradient.
Don't
- Recolour the mark, change its gradient, or apply effects, shadows or outlines.
- Stretch, squash, rotate or skew it.
- Rebuild the lockup by setting the wordmark yourself, or change the spacing between mark and text.
- Place it on a busy photograph, or on a colour too close to violet to separate from it.
- Use the mark in a way that suggests YouTube or Google built, endorsed or approved this product.
