Channel & video analytics
Views, watch time, CTR, subscriber flow and traffic sources for every video, pulled straight from the YouTube Analytics API and rolled up so you can compare like with like.
Factory is a web application for YouTube creators. With your permission it connects to your YouTube channel, reads your channel and video analytics through Google's official YouTube Data and Analytics APIs, and turns them into plain-English findings — plus the scripts, titles and next actions that fix what is underperforming.
Read-only access by default. You choose whether Factory may ever write to your channel — and you can revoke access at any time.
Factory is a web application for people who run a YouTube channel. It is an independent product — not a YouTube or Google product — that works with a channel you own once you give it permission to do so.
After you sign in with Google and authorise access on Google's consent screen, Factory reads your channel's metadata and your private performance analytics through the official YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API. It uses that data to do three things, and nothing else:
Factory does not post anything without your approval, does not buy, sell or inflate views, subscribers or engagement, does not sell or share your data, and does not use your data to train AI models. The full list of permissions it requests, and the reason for each one, is in Data & permissions below.
Every screen ends in a decision. No vanity dashboards, no charts that leave you wondering what to do on Monday.
Views, watch time, CTR, subscriber flow and traffic sources for every video, pulled straight from the YouTube Analytics API and rolled up so you can compare like with like.
See exactly where viewers drop off, which intros survive the first fifteen seconds, and how each upload compares against your own rolling median rather than a stranger's benchmark.
Hook rewrites, title and description variants, chapter outlines and pinned-comment copy — generated against your channel's own data, ready to paste or apply.
A repeatable pre-flight for every upload: metadata, chapters, end screens, cards and thumbnail checks — so nothing ships half-configured at 2am again.
Get told when a video breaks out, when retention collapses on a format that used to work, or when a back-catalogue video quietly starts trending again.
Clean CSV and PDF exports for sponsors, clients and your own records — with the underlying figures traceable back to the API responses they came from.
Authorise Factory from Google's own consent screen. You'll see every permission before you grant it, and you can decline the optional ones.
We pull your public channel metadata and your private analytics through Google's official APIs, then build a baseline from your own history.
Within a few minutes you have a prioritised list of what's costing you views, and the copy to fix it. Apply it yourself, or let Factory apply changes you approve.
Factory requests the narrowest set of Google OAuth scopes that lets the product work. Write access is optional and off unless you turn it on.

Only if you turn on Apply changes for me. Lets Factory write an approved title, description, chapter list or pinned comment back to your channel. Every write is shown to you first and recorded in an activity log you can review. |
Factory's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
No. Factory is an independent product built by an independent developer. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google LLC. It uses YouTube API Services under Google's published developer terms. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC.
Not unless you explicitly enable it. The default configuration is read-only: Factory can see your channel and analytics but cannot change anything. If you turn on Apply changes for me, every write is previewed, approved by you, and logged.
No. We do not use data obtained from Google APIs to develop, improve or train generalised AI or ML models. Where the product generates scripts or titles, your data is used only to produce output for your own channel, in that session.
Revoke Factory from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which stops all access immediately. To remove what we have already stored, delete your account in Settings or email privacy@shogy.no. Stored Google user data is deleted within 30 days.
Yes. You can connect multiple channels to a single Factory account and switch between them, provided your Google account has access to each one.
No, and it never will. Artificially inflating metrics violates the YouTube Terms of Service and will get your channel penalised. Factory only helps you improve work you actually publish.
Connect your channel and get your first set of findings in a couple of minutes. Read-only to start — you decide if it ever gets to write.
